The faceless mass that is Anonymous were irked when it appeared that the Church of Scientology had been pressuring Youtube and others. The furore surrounds the removal of a certain Tom Cruise video that showed the clams in an unflattering light.
The resultant DDoS attacks on Scientology websites were a joy to behold, and still further entertainment came from todays London protest outside a Scientologist stronghold. Dressed in Guy Fawkes masks and dark clothing, Anonymous delivered.

Welcome to the machine
